Music Box

junctQín’s music box is punch-paper controlled and is a 2-octave instrument.

The musical notes are holes punched through on stiff paper.  When the paper is fed through, depending on where the holes are punched, a specific tine will be hit and activated.  The musical box mechanism sits atop a custom made box, which amplifies its resonance.
